The Diamondbacks recalled Kelly from Triple-A Reno on Wednesday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Scouting Report
Has good command and a lanky, 6'3" frame. Knows how to set batters up effectively. His stuff is also fairly above-average for the big leagues. Can be too hittable at times in the big leagues. Could use a more dominant strikeout pitch, as well. Also, injuries have been a problem here.
Long Range Potential: Versatile right-hander (when healthy).
