The Angels placed Stassi (personal) on the restricted list Sunday.
Angels manager Phil Nevin told reporters Saturday that Stassi (personal/hip) remains without a timetable, but he has resumed participating in baseball activities and working out, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Owns plus power and run-producing potential from the catching position, and he could be a middle-of-the-order bat in the big leagues. Is also an excellent defender behind the plate. Injuries have already set him back in his formative years, so he must prove capable of staying healthy in order to maximize his all-round upside. Must become a more selective hitter.
Long Range Potential: Backup catcher.
