Richards earned the save against the Athletics on Wednesday, retiring the only batter he faced on one pitch.
Scouting Report
Has a bulldog mentality when on the bump. Pitches to contact effectively. Also displays good stuff and the ability to rack up good strikeout numbers in MLB. Needs to avoid the big inning, as he tends to surrender too many home runs. Also has a tendency to lose his control on occasion. Injuries are a concern.
Long Range Potential: Excellent starter, when healthy.
