Scouting Report
Owned the drive and mentality of a true ace. Had a great pitcher's frame and impressive strikeout ability, especially due to a good fastball and impressive slow curve. Could dominate on the hill. When he got into trouble, it was because he lost command of the strike zone and had difficulty repeating his delivery. Was also slowed by injury throughout his MLB career, including troublesome back issues. However, he persevered and wound up with an incredibly lengthy career–all with one organization.
Long Range Potential: All-time great left-handed starter.
