Carrasco allowed six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters over two innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Wednesday.
Scouting Report
Has a great pitchers' frame (6'4", 224 pounds), a feel for pitching and the ability to dominate on the mound when he gets in a groove. Strikeouts are a big part of his game in the big leagues. Can get hit hard when he loses his command, so he needs more refinement with his pitches. Elbow issues have also been a concern. Serves up a lot of home runs when his pitches elevate.
Long Range Potential: Solid right-hander, when healthy.
