Has a tremendous pitchers' frame. Is adept at pitching to contact. Will always battle when on the mound. Throws strikes. Can be used as both a reliever and spot-starter. Lacks the ability to strike a lot of batters out at the big-league level. Also gets into trouble with the long ball and when he nibbles too much. His stuff is only average.
