Scouting Report
A rare mix of command and competitiveness, he was a highly durable strikeout pitcher who rarely walked batters. Big, strong and athletic, he used a fluid, consistent delivery to succeed with his fastball. Gave up a fair share of homers (though mostly solo shots), in part because he threw so many strikes. In fact, he did not mix it up enough. Despite his stuff, the results weren't always there.
