Scouting Report
Had a quick bat and made excellent contact. Also had fairly good speed running the bases. Possessed solid power and improved his versatility in the field over time. In fact, he became more of an impact player late in his MLB career. Was rather durable, except for perhaps his final few big-league campaigns. Did not always take full advantage of his speed, so his base-stealing ability was only average at best. Was fairly inconsistent when it came to hitting home runs and RBI opportunities (earlier in his career).
Long Range Potential: Quality, versatile bat and solid leader.
