Scouting Report
Hustle was his strongest suit. Could murder first-pitch fastballs and make good contact. Could also hit well with runners in scoring position--especially against lefties. Was a good and versatile outfielder. Also ran pretty well. Struggled with offensive consistency over the years, which was the main reason why he was not an everyday player in Major League Baseball. A lot of his struggles occurred against finesse pitchers and right-handers.
Long Range Potential: Gritty, versatile backup outfielder.
