Scouting Report
Was defensively consistent and had good range at shortstop, with a plus arm. A switch-hitter with surprising pop (due to his diminutive stature) in his bat, he played the game with great instincts and hustle. Ran pretty well. Did not always display consistency at the dish and was not quite as good as a left-handed batter as he was from the right. Was a competitive, brash leader who knew what it took to win. Wear and tear eventually led to his decline, but he featured tremendous longevity.
Long Range Potential: Excellent, all-around shortstop and leader.
