Scouting Report
Was a tremendously powerful hitter to all fields, with patience and incomparable base-running skills. Produced with authority in every possible situation. Was one of the best defensive outfielders in the game. Could freeze base-runners with his rifle arm. Injuries. Oh, those injuries. It could his excellent career short, and it led to fewer stolen bases and a noticeable loss of first-step quickness later on in his career. Also, he had a tendency to chase bad pitches from time to time. Was too aggressive at times.
Long Range Potential: The greatest Canadian hitter of all time.
