Scouting Report
Boasted one of the fastest pure bats in the history of the game, which combined with his excellent eye and patience allowed him to wait on pitches and foul them off until he got a good one. Could change the outcome of a game with one swing. Was plagued by nagging injuries throughout his career. Was not as good with his glove as he was with his bat. His intensity sometimes boiled over into slumps and general discontent. Also had issues with the media, which hurt his image a little.
Long Range Potential: Outstanding, yet mercurial slugger.
