Scouting Report
Immensely gifted behind the plate, he had a very strong and accurate arm and was able to throw to second base from the crouching position. Could provide power to a lineup from the catching position. Never fully met expectations on offense, partly due to his free-swinging tendencies. Earlier in his career he was able to run very well for a catcher, but injuries slowed him down significantly over time.
Long Range Potential: Mega-talented, athletic catcher with a lack of consistency.
