Scouting Report
An all-round talent at shortstop, he produced runs, had some pop, would steal a few bases and was fairly consistent defensively. Was adept at hitting behind runners. Performed quite well in the clutch. Was not as consistent at producing runs later on in his career. Age and wear & tear robbed him of some bat speed, some mobility on the bases and some fielding range over time.
Long Range Potential: Smooth, contact-hitting shortstop with clutch ability.
