Morris (forearm) struck out three and issued one walk while allowing no hits over two shutout innings Saturday after being reinstated from Triple-A St. Paul's 7-day injured list.

Morris could be the top starting pitcher candidate to be called up if the Twins have another opening in the rotation, Matthew Leach of MLB.com reports. He has a 3.86 ERA with a 19.1% strikeout rate and 6.8% walk rate at Triple-A.
