What does it give the Tampa Bay Lightning
Perry is back in Tampa Bay to try to win that elusive second Stanley Cup. He was with the team in both 2021-22 and 2022-23, so a lot of current Lightning players are familiar with him. Can Tampa Bay go all the way this time around?
What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
The Kings tried to sign Perry to an extension but it did not materialize. So, Los Angeles did well to land a second-rounder here. The Kings might continue to tinker before the trade deadline, but they really need to get younger.
Fantasy impact
Perry is great on the power play but he is basically a fourth-line winger at even strength. He does not need to be picked up in most leagues. If fantasy leaguers are desperate, go for it.
