The Ottawa Senators acquired winger Warren Foegele and a conditional third-round draft pick in 2026 from the Los Angeles Kings for a second-round draft pick in 2026 and a conditional third-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the Ottawa Senators
The Senators are trying to stay in the Wild Card chase in the East, so adding Foegele helps them for the here and now. He plays an abrasive game and has been good in the playoffs. Ottawa hopes to see him performing in them this year.

What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
The Kings may be adding more talent before this year's trade deadline. However, for now they are moving on from Foegele, who struggled badly to find his footing this season. LA did well here to get a second-rounder and a pick swap in this deal.
