EAGLES ACQUIRE PRO BOWL TACKLE PETERS

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired LT Jason Peters from the Buffalo Bills for a 2009 first-round draft pick, a 2009 fourth-round draft pick and an undisclosed 2010 draft pick.

What does it give the Philadelphia Eagles
A two-time Pro Bowler in his prime, Peters is a nice replacement for Pro Bowler Tra Thomas, who left this off-season for Jacksonville via free agency. According to the Associated Press, Philly has already signed Peters to an extension, and they still have a first-round Draft pick for this year (No.21 overall).

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
The Bills are always cost conscious so they clearly save money here by not having to pay Peters. With two first-rounders now at the upcoming Draft, look for Buffalo to possibly target another top tackle with one of the two picks.
