TRYON-SHOYINKA TRADED TO THE BEARS

The Chicago Bears acquired defensive end/linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and a seventh-round draft pick in 2026 from the Cleveland Browns for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the Chicago Bears
The Bears recently lost Dayo Odeyingbo to an Achilles tear, so more help off the edge was required for the defensive line. Tryon-Shoyinka may be able to supply decent depth but he is not a difference-making edge rusher at this point.

What does it give the Cleveland Browns
The Browns have good depth along the defensive line, so it is not surprising that they shipped Tryon-Shoyinka out before this year's trade deadline. In eight appearances with Cleveland, Tryon-Shoyinka had accumulated zero sacks.

Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as Tryon-Shoyinka is going to play a depth role in Chicago, much like his role with the Browns earlier this season.
