SHAHEED TO THE SEAHAWKS

The Seattle Seahawks acquired wide receiver Rashid Shaheed from the New Orleans Saints for a fourth-round draft pick in 2026 and a fifth-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks already have three quality wide receivers in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp and rookie Tory Horton. Now, they have added a deep speed threat in Shaheed, who should stretch defenses even more. Seattle looks like a team to watch in the second half of the NFL campaign.

What does it give the New Orleans Saints
The Saints are among the worst teams in the National Football League this season, so it should have come as no surprise to New Orleans football fans that Shaheed was shipped out before this year's deadline. New Orleans was able to land two mid-round picks in next year's draft in return.

Fantasy impact
While Shaheed has speed to burn, he joins a Seattle team that is loaded with pass-catchinig threats. Therefore, his fantasy stock may actually go down now that he is in Seattle. He is still worth adding if available but do not go out of the way to pick him up at this time.
