JAELAN PHILLIPS TO PHILADELPHIA
The Philadelphia Eagles acquired linebacker Jaelan Phillips from the Miami Dolphins for a third-round draft pick in 2026.
What does it give the Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are always adding pieces, which makes GM Howie Roseman (arguably) the best in the business. Phillips is a quality edge rusher who can also play outside linebacker. He should be a great addition to a defense that was already stout.
What does it give the Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins fired their GM (Chris Grier) recently and appear to be on the cusp of a massive shift in personnel. Head coach Mike McDaniel is still employed but for how long? Phillips may be the first of many Dolphins to be dealt before the deadline.
Fantasy impact
Phillips may be more of a situational pass rusher than an everyday linebacker in Philadelphia, so his fantasy impact may be somewhat limited. Buyer beware.
