The Browns recently lost left tackle Dawand Jones to a season-ending injury, so adding Robinson should help. Robinson will likely start at left tackle moving forward.

What does it give the Houston Texans
For the Texans, moving on from Robinson makes sense after the latter lost the left tackle job to rookie Aireontae Ersery during training camp. Houston got a one-round pick upgrade.
