EAGLES BRING IN BIGSBY
The Philadelphia Eagles acquired running back Tank Bigsby from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fifth-round draft pick in 2026 and a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.
What does it give the Philadelphia Eagles
Interesting. Philadelphia has (arguably) the best running back in the NFL in Saquon Barkley, so is giving up two draft picks for a backup a smart move? The Eagles value the running game more than most teams, so Bigsby should be an asset as both a rusher and possible kick returner.

What does it give the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars had three running backs: Travis Etienne, rookie Bhayshul Tuten and Bigsby. Someone had to go, so Jacksonville decided to move on from their 2024 leading rusher (Bigsby). The Jags did well here, since running backs are not usually valued highly.

            Fantasy impact
Bigsby's fantasy value appears to be fading here. That said, he did not play much in Week 1, so perhaps moving from Jacksonville to Philadelphia could help him? Bigsby fantasy owners now need to make a decision on him. Perhaps wait a few weeks before making a final one.
