JOWON BRIGGS TO THE JETS

The New York Jets acquired defensive tackle Jowon Briggs and a seventh-round draft pick in 2026 from the Cleveland Browns for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the New York Jets
The Jets are still searching for someone to play opposite Quinnen Williams along the interior of the defensive line, so Briggs could get a better opportunity with "Gang Green" in '25.

What does it give the Cleveland Browns
Cleveland is fairly deep along the defensive line, especially after drafting Mason Graham in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Therefore, they decided to move Briggs to the Jets.
