ROBBIE ANDERSON ADDED BY ARIZONA

The Arizona Cardinals acquired wide receiver Robbie Anderson from the Carolina Panthers for a sixth-round draft pick in 2024 and a seventh-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals offense is struggling, so hopefully the arrival of Anderson (along with the return from suspension of DeAndre Hopkins) can revive Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray. The Cards did not give up too much to get Anderson, but he is no guarantee to make an impact in the Desert.

What does it give the Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have already fired head coach Matt Rhule this season, so now they are expected to continue the purge...one player at a time. Anderson was clearly on the outs, so a change of scenery was necessary. Carolina should give Shi Smith and Terrace Marshall Jr. more playing time after this trade.

Fantasy impact
Anderson could be worth picking up in deeper fantasy leagues, but do not expect him to light it up right away. Arizona's offensive players have struggled to post quality numbers so far this season. Buyer beware.
