PITTSBURGH PICKS UP MALIK REED

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired linebacker/defensive end Malik Reed and a seventh-round draft pick in 2023 from the Denver Broncos for a sixth-round draft pick in 2023.

What does it give the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have one of the best edge rushers in the game in T.J. Watt, but there are questions on the other side. Reed will probably challenge Alex Highsmith for snaps in Pittsburgh.

What does it give the Denver Broncos
The Broncos have more depth on the edge this year, with veteran Randy Gregory and rookie Nik Bonitto joining stalwart Bradley Chubb. So Reed became expendable.

Fantasy impact
Reed is not a recommendable fantasy option in IDP leagues unless Watt is injured for a lengthy period of time. Even then, he is not a great fantasy option.
