The Detroit Lions acquired wide receiver Trinity Benson and a sixth-round draft pick in 2023 from the Denver Broncos for a fifth-round draft pick in 2022 and a seventh-round draft pick in 2022.

The Lions have an underwhelming receiver corps this year, so Benson could work his way into a decent amount of playing time. Detroit clearly likes him.

The Broncos had a surplus at the wide receiver positions this training camp, so they moved Benson in a deal also involving three draft picks in total.
Fantasy impact
Benson is a major fantasy wild card at this point. He has little NFL experience but might be in a perfect position to succeed with the offensively-challenged Lions. Keep an eye on him.
