The Seattle Seahawks acquired cornerback John Reid from the Houston Texans for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2023.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are clearly looking for more cornerback depth, so adding Reid at this time makes some sense. He is not a lock to crack the roster.

What does it give the Houston Texans
The Texans are making several deals this training camp, and most involve cornerbacks. Clearly, they are looking for a different look in the secondary.
