The Philadelphia Eagles acquired cornerback Josiah Scott from the Jacksonville Jaguars for cornerback Jameson Houston and a sixth-round draft pick in 2023.
What does it give the Philadelphia Eagles
This is a straight swap of backup cornerbacks, although the Eagles obviously have a stronger opinion of Scott (since they also included a sixth-rounder in '23 here).
What does it give the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars hope Houston can provide some quality depth at the cornerback position this season. Scott struggled in that area last season, so the new Jacksonville regime decided to move on.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as both cornerbacks will likely play a depth role with their new clubs (provided they both make the rosters).
