The 49ers have had massive injury woes along their defensive line this season, so the arrival of Willis adds some needed depth. He played sparingly in New York but might become a rotational end for San Francisco.
What does it give the New York Jets
The Jets continue to make small deals for draft pick upgrades as they look to completely revamp the roster for next season (and beyond). Willis was little used and played out of position as a 3-4 outside linebacker in New York.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact to write about here; Willis will not see enough snaps in San Francisco to rack up a decent number of sacks.
