CHARLES HARRIS HEADS TO ATLANTA
The Atlanta Falcons acquired defensive end/linebacker Charles Harris from the Miami Dolphins for a seventh-round draft pick in 2021.
What does it give the Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons continue to search for edge rushers and are taking a flier on the 25-year-old Harris (who was selected 22nd overall in 2017). There is little risk involved here for Atlanta, with possibly a high reward if Harris pans out.
What does it give the Miami Dolphins
Miami needed to decide whether to exercise its fifth-year option on Harris for 2021. With free agent acquisitions Kyle Van Noy, Shaq Lawson and Emmanuel Ogbah now on the edge, it was an easy decision to let Harris go.
Fantasy impact
Harris holds no fantasy value at present time, as he is not even assured of a roster spot in Atlanta going into the 2020 NFL campaign.
