GIANTS PICK UP PUNTER DIXON FROM DENVER

The New York Giants acquired punter Riley Dixon from the Denver Broncos for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2019.

What does it give the New York Giants
Dixon will likely step in and replace Brad Wing as the Giants' punter (with Wing recently released after three seasons with the gig). Dixon can also serve on kickoffs if need be.

What does it give the Denver Broncos
This move suggests the Broncos are comfortable with Marquette King as their punter moving forward, and they also get a 7th-round pick here to add another asset.

Fantasy impact
Punters are largely fantasy-irrelevant, but Dixon should at least help the Giants defense with field position in 2018.
