SEAHAWKS TRADE FOR DB JUSTIN COLEMAN

The Seattle Seahawks acquired defensive back Justin Coleman from the New England Patriots for a seventh-round draft pick in 2018.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks decided to add Coleman to their secondary, while moving on from recently-acquired Tramaine Brock. Coleman will likely play a role in nickel and dime packages for Seattle. He is a pretty solid pickup for a team looking to get back to the Super Bowl.

What does it give the New England Patriots
The Patriots are a team constantly tweaking their roster, and constantly looking to add valuable draft picks for the future (even late-round selections). This is their motivation for trading away a fairly solid defensive back in Coleman. This is the Patriots way.

Fantasy impact
There is not much fantasy value here, as Coleman will not start for Seattle (so his IDP league stock remains fairly negligible).
