COLTS ACQUIRE SAFETY RONALD MARTIN
The Indianapolis Colts acquired safety Ronald Martin from the New York Jets for long snapper Thomas Hennessy.
What does it give the Indianapolis Colts
The Colts were obviously concerned about their depth at safety, so they went out to acquire Martin. He will likely serve as a backup and play special teams for Indy.
What does it give the New York Jets
The Jets have overhauled their safeties since the off-season began, and it continues here. Hennessy will come in as competition for vet snapper Tanner Purdum.
Fantasy impact
This deal provides virtually no fantasy value, as Martin will not play enough snaps to make a difference in IDP fantasy leagues.
