LAKERS LAND LUKE KENNARD VIA ATLANTA
The Los Angeles Lakers acquired guard/forward Luke Kennard from the Atlanta Hawks for guard Gabe Vincent and a second-round draft pick in 2032.
What does it give the Los Angeles Lakers
Kennard is more of a shooter than a passer, so it makes sense that the Lakers added him to the squad. He could benefit from playing with Luka Doncic and LeBron James.
What does it give the Atlanta Hawks
Vincent could be a decent backup point guard on a team that recently dealt Trae Young to Washington. The Hawks also did well to land a second-rounder in this trade.
Fantasy impact
Neither Kennard nor Vincent are great fantasy options because they will continue to come off the bench with their respective new teams.
