McCAIN MOVED TO OKC

The Oklahoma City Thunder acquired guard Jared McCain from the Philadelphia 76ers for a first-round draft pick in 2026, a conditional second-round draft pick in 2027 and two second-round draft picks in 2028.

What does it give the Oklahoma City Thunder
McCain was blocked behind Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe in Philadelphia, but playing time will not come anymore easily in Oklahoma City. Still, he is definitely an upgrade for the defending champions.

What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers did well to get value for their backup guard. While Philadelphia is supposed to be in win-now mode these days, they are being realistic here with this trade. Getting a first-rounder in this year's draft should help them.

Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as McCain is unlikely to see enough playing time with his new team to make his mark.
