What does it give the Boston Celtics
The Celtics have held their own this season despite not having their best player (Jayson Tatum) in the lineup due to injury. Vucevic should make Boston even better. Simons was coming off the bench for the Celts, so they will need to replace his minutes from the guard positions.
What does it give the Chicago Bulls
Simons is a talented guard who may become an integral part of Chicago's revamped lineup. Without Vucevic, the Bulls will likely play with much smaller lineups moving forward. Simons has both started and come off the bench at the National Basketball Association level.
Fantasy impact
Vucevic could get better fantasy statistics now that he has moved from Chicago to Boston. In any case, he is a decent fantasy center in most league formats. As for Simons, look for him to become a little more impactful with the Bulls than he was with the Celtics. His fantasy stock is back on the rise.
