BANDA MOVED TO MINNESOTA
The Minnesota Twins acquired pitcher Anthony Banda from the Los Angeles Dodgers for international bonus pool money.
What does it give the Minnesota Twins
Banda provides the Twins with another left-handed relief option out of the bullpen. The veteran should slot in behind Taylor Rogers as the No. 2 southpaw on the depth chart. He is coming off back-to-back solid seasons in middle relief with the Dodgers, and notched a career-high 12 holds in 2025.
What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers have several left-handers and added more bullpen depth this off-season, so they were comfortable with moving on from Banda. LA secured some international free agent money in return.
Fantasy impact
Banda has some value in leagues that count holds and K/9. He should get a small boost from this trade, too, as he could now earn more holds pitching for the Twins.
