The 23-year-old Curet is a candidate to start for the Phillies this season. That said, he struggled in Triple-A ball last season and might require a little more seasoning.
What does it give the Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays designated Curet for assignment, so they did well to land McCollum in this deal. A pure reliever, McCollum could become an option for Tampa Bay at some point.

For the time being, neither Curet nor McCollum offer much in the way of fantasy value. That could change over time.
