DUBON FOR ALLEN
The Atlanta Braves acquired outfielder/infielder Mauricio Dubon from the Houston Astros for infielder Nick Allen.
What does it give the Atlanta Braves
Dubon is an incredibly versatile player who can play regularly in spurts both in the infield and outfield. He should have a similar role in Atlanta, seeing time at several different positions.
What does it give the Houston Astros
Allen is less versatile than Dubon but is good insurance for Houston's two middle infield positions. Allen is not much of a hitter but his quality defense keeps him in the big leagues.
Fantasy impact
Due to Dubon's versatility, he might be a solid bench option in many fantasy leagues. Draft him in the last round. Avoid Allen, however. He provides very little offense.
