What does it give the Baltimore Orioles
The Orioles need to revamp the roster so adding Ward here is a nice way to start. The veteran outfielder has power and run-producing ability, so expect him to play every day in either left or right field for Baltimore.
What does it give the Los Angeles Angels
In exchange for their starting left-fielder, Los Angeles decided to add young right-hander Rodriguez to the mix. Now 26, Rodriguez has been beset by injury throughout his pro career. He has big upside and might be worth the injury risk.
Fantasy impact
Can Ward duplicate his 2025 totals in Baltimore? He might revert back to previous numbers so do not overrate him on draft day. As for Rodriguez, he is an intriguing buy-low candidate for 2026. Draft him in the latter rounds; fingers crossed.
