TAYLOR ROGERS TO THE CUBS
The Pittsburgh Pirates acquired pitcher Taylor Rogers from the Chicago Cubs for outfielder Ivan Brethowr.
What does it give the Chicago Cubs
Lefty Rogers was traded twice on deadline day, while twin brother Tyler was traded once. The Cubs will likely use Rogers as a lefty specialist down the stretch.

What does it give the Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pirates acquired Rogers earlier in the day, and now shipped him off to the Cubs for a prospect. A 6'6'', 250-pound outfielder, Brethowr is a pure dart throw for Pittsburgh.

            Fantasy impact
Rogers is likely to see a few hold opportunities with the Cubs, but he is unlikely to see a lot of save chances. So, his value may hinge on the type of fantasy league. Brethowr is not yet a prospect worthy of being on the fantasy radar.
