What does it give the Seattle Mariners
In Castillo, the Mariners get a left-handed reliever with the ability to pitch in the ninth inning...which may be needed after the team dealt away Kendall Graveman recently. Castillo is underrated.
What does it give the Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays are always tinkering with their roster, so this move is no real surprise. Chargois will replace Castillo in Tampa Bay's bullpen, albeit in a different role. Shenton has some upside as an infielder.
Fantasy impact
Castillo is a good candidate to be picked up in a lot of leagues, as he could see a fair amount of save opportunities. Chargois does not have much value, while Shenton is now on the fantasy keeper radar.
