Berti is a light-hitting utility player who provides Cleveland with some organizational depth. Despite being age 28 he has never reached the majors, so expect him to mostly continue toiling at Triple-A.
What does it give the Toronto Blue Jays
The Jays made several moves this off-season to shore up depth at the utility spots, and those moves probably made Berti expendable.
Fantasy impact
Considering his advanced age and his lack of offensive punch, Berti will likely have little fantasy impact on the Cleveland organization (just as he had little when he was with Toronto).
